Finally spring!!!

Usually at this point in the year it is 95 degrees (at least) and humid every day. This year, however, we have been blessed with a very mild spring. I had to wear a sweater at a memorial day cookout. But, ahhhhh alas, spring is finally here!

Roadtrip in Review Picture Version - Day 10

Holy cow... we made it to day 10! We woke up in St. Louis and had our plans ready for the day. We started with the St. Louis Zoo, which is one of the top FREE zoo's in the country! Then we drove out to the St. Louis Arch where we planned to go up, but ended up not because it would have taken several hours, and we just weren't ready to do that when we still had driving to do! So we got our St. Louis "toasted ravioli" not my favorite meal, and headed on to Kansas city for our Final state!

Pretty Elephant!

Not sure why I looked so surprised

Giraffe!

Look at the baby joey!

The arch was much larger than we anticipated

Roadtrip in Review Picture Version - Day 9

Well we started off day 9 with a nice brunch in Chicago. We then drove towards St. Louis! On our way to St. Louis we stopped off for the "original Corn Dog"! Then when we were in St. Louis we went to the "City Museum" that was made completely of recycled items. Also was the world's largest PENCIL?!?!?!

Roadtrip in Review Picture Version - Day 8

Whaaaaaaaaaaat? We stayed in one place for longer than a day? Yup... here's Chicago round two! First we hit up Navy Pier so we could ride the Ferris Wheel. Did you know it was invented in Chicago for the world's fair? Then we grabbed a quick lunch and headed to the river for the architectural boat tour. Afterwards we went to Courtney's and all went to Mexican for dinner.
