So, apparently, I haven't blogged in a few years, but here I am. The title of this blog is pretty much what I'm dealing with at the moment. My aunt Di passed away in June of 2017. Prior to her passing, she asked me if I would be the executor of her estate. At the time, I didn't even have a clue that she was sick. She passed before she was able to create her will. I am now in the position of "administrator" of her estate. There are a lot of requirements in CA to do that, but somehow I was able to fill out all the paperwork and show up at the right time and place to get appointed.
Stay tuned. I hope to have some more information after things settle down a bit so that folks who are in the same position as I am have something they can find when they Google. ;) I also hope that this story has a happy ending, but as I keep moving forward I keep having feelings that it may not.
