On the fourth day in Switzerland, we headed to Grindelwald and from there we took the little gondolas up to First. We hiked a bit up to this really beautiful lake and hiked down to Bort to meet mom and dad.

Our hike peak was this nice lake :) |
The next few photos were on our way back down from the lake. Look how beautiful it is!
From Bort, Rich, Lea and I hiked back down to Grindelwald to meet the parents and kiddos. They took the gondola's back down!

So beautiful! |
Coincidentally, this is also the day we bought a TON of Swiss chocolate! There was this cute little chocolatier in Grindelwald that we saw on our way up the mountain so we stopped there on the way out to get some chocolates to go!
That night we decided to make a reservation for Day 5 for brunch/lunch. These are some of the MOST beautiful photos. On Thursday morning we got up, took the bus to the cable cars, then took three different sets of cable cars to get to the
Schilthorn. Fun fact: On Her Majesty's Service, a James Bond movie, was filmed at the Piz Gloria, the revolving restaurant at the Schilthorn. A not so fun fact... every cable car we got on going up to the Piz Gloria/Schilthorn had the theme music for James Bond.

Don't let that smile fool you... she white knuckled anything she could hold onto on the way up! But despite not liking it, she made it! :) |

My phone somehow made this black & white |

One of my favorite photos... red neck European camping at it's finest... that is a van with a tent on top of it |
Only one more post! Then I'm done with the vacation posts and can get on to more important things, not exactly sure what those things are but we'll find out!
